I assume this isn't intended but if you press one of the action buttons (E/Q) while walking or jumping the character will continue walking or jumping after you let go of the directional buttons.

Pretty decent little game, the artwork looks quite nice and definitely has a cool retro aesthetic.

It's a very good looking demo, and I'm sure once you've finished this project you'll have a pretty decent game put together, but there's just not enough content to justify pushing this through to the portal in my opinion, so I have to give it one star. Sorry, but definitely keep up the good work and come back when you've got a more complete game for us, as I'm sure it will be quite great!

Okay, that’s fair. I’ll repost once the full game is complete.

Thanks!

Obviously this isn't a game for my particular demographic, but for what it is it's pretty well designed and I could see how this would be appealing to a young child in a way that would help them focus and learn.

Thank you for the review!

Pretty cool concept, but I personally feel as though the controls could be refined a bit more.

This is such a fun game, I just wish there was more of it. I feel like you could really develop further on this concept and build a full game out of it if you chose to do so. But for what it is, it's certainly incredible to say the least.

Why thank you! That means alot to me. More games coming in the future :)

This is a really well designed game. I like how everything controls and the levels are all really well structured.

It's not my kind of game, but I do really like the art style. It kinda reminds me of Yoshi's Island.

Really cool and unique puzzle-platformer game. The art style and music fir perfectly with the theme and style of the gameplay itself. Definitely a quality game.

Pretty neat and addictive little platformer. The difficulty is moderate and anyone who's familiar with other platformer games will have no trouble figuring it out. While it doesn't particularly expand on the genre in any significant way, its smooth controls and old school aesthetic will keep you playing for a little while. The soundtrack is pretty cool too, almost reminiscent of the Scott Pilgrim game soundtrack. Overall a good game.
